現(xiàn)任景德鎮(zhèn)陶瓷大學(xué)二級(jí)教授、博士研究生導(dǎo)師、博士后研究生導(dǎo)師，中國(guó)陶瓷藝術(shù)大師，陶瓷文化高等研究院院長(zhǎng)；第十三屆全國(guó)人大代表，國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)八屆學(xué)科評(píng)議組設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)成員，教育部高等學(xué)校設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)副主任委員,中國(guó)研究生教育指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)專家, 中華陶瓷大師工作委員會(huì)主席，中國(guó)工藝美術(shù)大師專家委員會(huì)委員，中國(guó)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計(jì)產(chǎn)業(yè)戰(zhàn)略聯(lián)盟創(chuàng)新文化專業(yè)委員會(huì)主任，中國(guó)工藝美術(shù)大師評(píng)委，長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者評(píng)委，巴渝學(xué)者特聘教授，享受國(guó)務(wù)院特殊津貼，聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織國(guó)際陶瓷學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員，江西省美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)副主席，江西省工業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)，江西省留學(xué)人員聯(lián)誼會(huì)理事會(huì)副會(huì)長(zhǎng)。
獲中國(guó)輕工業(yè)聯(lián)合會(huì)、中國(guó)陶瓷工業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)聯(lián)合授予的“陶瓷藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)教育杰出貢獻(xiàn)獎(jiǎng)”；江西省委省政府授予“突出貢獻(xiàn)人才”稱號(hào)。

He is currently a second-level professor, doctoral supervisor, post-doctoral supervisor, the dean of Institute of Advanced Studies in Ceramic Culture of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, a Master of Chinese Ceramic Art, deputy to the 13th National People's Congress, a member of the Eighth (Design) Discipline Assessment Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, vice chairman of the Design Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, a design expert of China Graduate Education Steering Committee, and chairman of the Working Committee of Chinese Ceramic Masters. He is also a member of the Expert Committee of Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters, director of the Innovative Culture Committee of Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance of China, a judge of Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters and the Yangtze River Scholars, and Distinguished Professor of Bayu Scholars. Enjoying a special allowance of the State Council and membership of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) of UNESCO, he is the vice chairman of Jiangxi Artist Association, president of Jiangxi Industrial Design Society, and Vice President of the Council of Jiangxi Provincial Association of Returned Overseas Students.
He was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for Ceramic Art and Design Education by China Light Industry Council and China Ceramic Industrial Association, and the Outstanding Achievement Award by Jiangxi provincial government.
